Chris McKnight is a Director at Core Wealth Advisors and a highly experienced financial advisor specialising in investment advice, superannuation advice and retirement planning.

As Chair of our Investment Committee, Chris is ultimately accountable for decisions for portfolio investments in Core's Managed Discretionary Account (MDA).

Chris is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and a recognised Self-Managed Superannuation Specialist accredited through the SMSF Professionals’ Association of Australia (SPAA).

Chris holds a Bachelor of International Finance (currently studying for his Masters of Applied Finance) and an Advance Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).

Michael Purvis

Michael Purvis is a Director at Core Wealth Advisors and a highly experienced financial advisor specialising in businesses insurance strategies, personal risk insurance, wealth management and corporate superannuation funds.

For the last seventeen years Michael has provided easy to understand insurance solutions for individuals and corporate entities and assisted small to medium enterprises with the employment superannuation obligations and legislative requirements.

Michael holds an Advanced Diploma Financial Services (Financial Planning), is an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and is a Commissioner for Declarations.

Tom Hackett

Thomas Hackett is a Chartered Accountant with a distinguished career in Corporate & Business Advisory, Audit and Valuation services. His experience since 1986 has been attained through roles in London and Australia.

His work in the financial services industry has encompassed IPOs, global acquisitions, valuations of asset portfolios, private equity funding and bank funding. His audit experience has covered listed and unlisted public companies, solicitors’ trust accounts and superannuation funds.

In his capacity as Managing Partner in the global accounting firm PKF, he has worked in practice areas including due diligence investigations, mergers & acquisitions, taxation planning & structuring and compiling expert reports on valuations and financial investigations.

His financial markets career began at KPMG (formerly Touche Ross & Co Chartered Accountants) in Audit & Advisory and has included roles in Corporate Finance and at Director level in firms including PKF and Banque Paribas (London).

Mr Hackett is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
